About Steve Morris
Throughout my career, I have leveraged my ability in diagnosing, evaluating, treating and overseeing mental disorders, as well as conducting initial assessments of patient needs to define accurate treatment. In my previous position as a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist, these strengths allowed me to accomplish short- and long-range objectives, while contributing to a vibrant, inclusive company culture.
Furthermore, I have refined industry-specific competencies that I can immediately apply, including Patient Monitoring & Assessment, Stress Management, Psychological Interventions, Crisis Resolution, Ad Hoc Consultations, Psychotherapy & Psychopharmacology.
Below are some of my key career accomplishments
- Designed and developed diagnosis / treatment plans for individuals in adherence to psychiatric evaluation while delivering supportive psychotherapy and psychopharmacology as needed.
- Guided and prescribed psychotherapeutic treatments and medications, while overseeing, conducting, and delivering crisis intervention and assessment reports.
- Assessed and discussed referrals / outcomes, including complex cases, safeguarding referrals, and disengaging patients by attending in weekly MDT meetings for RWB and FRT services.
